Fitted Wardrobe Planner
Planning limitations
Updated 18 October 2026
Use the app to explore a wardrobe and prepare preliminary schedules. Verify the design before manufacture or installation.
Measure and inspect the real opening
The app uses your measurements. It cannot verify them or detect uneven walls, an out-of-level floor, concealed services, skirting, obstructions or unsuitable substrates. Check the complete opening and the intended assembly and lift-up route on site. Side and ceiling blanks require fitting and scribing.
Choose and check the actual construction
The preview and exports are not a verified survey, structural approval, manufacturing drawing or quotation. Confirm loads, stability, fixings, board specification, tolerances, grain, edge treatment and assembly sequence with a suitably qualified professional. Sheet layouts are calculated proposals and must be checked against the physical stock and cutting method.
Hardware is system-specific
Confirm the exact hinges, handles, runners, sliding tracks, brackets and wall anchors before making parts. Check door sweep, drawer access, track clearances and manufacturer instructions. A generic hardware allowance cannot certify that a particular system fits or is safe.
Read every issue
Blocking issues stop the cut list. Advisories identify further checks; the absence of a warning is not proof that every site or construction condition has been assessed. Do not use a visually plausible 3D model as evidence of structural adequacy.
Colours, units and scope
Colours and textures are illustrative and vary by screen. The calculator stores dimensions in millimetres. Inch output is an approximate reference; confirm the canonical dimensions before cutting. Room wall and floor finishes are presentation choices, not measured building geometry.
The app covers straight alcove wardrobes with a level top. Corners, sloping ceilings, structural design and a verified quotation are outside its scope.
Keep your own checked records
The app stores one local project. Keep any checked exports you need and review them again after changing measurements, materials or hardware. Exported schedules do not replace professional judgement.
These notes explain the app’s intended use. They do not ask you to waive statutory consumer rights.
