Include your device model, iOS, iPadOS or Android version, app version and the steps that led to the problem. A screenshot can help. Share project files only if you are comfortable including their names, measurements and design details.

Start a design

Create a project, enter your stair-space measurements in millimetres and choose a storage layout. Use Space, Units and Finish to refine the concept. Open Make for cutting settings, calculated parts and sheet layouts.

The adjustable podium is 10–80 mm high, measured from the floor to the underside of the units. It occupies part of your measured room height.

Save, recover and back up

Save your project in the app so you can open it again. A recovery draft helps you resume unfinished work. For an editable backup, open Project options and export a project backup, then choose a file-saving destination in the system share sheet. You can import that backup through Project options.

Keep important backups outside the app before uninstalling it or changing devices. PDFs and images are useful for sharing, but they do not replace an editable project backup.

Preview and share

Realistic view renders your concept on your device. Rotate and zoom to inspect it, adjust the lighting and share a preview image. PDF preview, printing and sharing are available from the project actions. Choose the destination in your device’s system controls.

Understand warnings and calculated parts

Resolve the blockers shown in Make before relying on totals. Drawers and pull-outs use the plywood box or tower recipe shown there. Check material thickness, clearances, runners, fixings and guides. Purchased hardware and metal baskets are separate from sheet stock.

If something goes wrong

Save and export a backup if possible, then close and reopen the app. Check for an app update. If the issue continues, email us with the steps to reproduce it. Avoid deleting the app as a first troubleshooting step because your projects are stored locally.
