Start with your room

Open Rooms to create a room or import a backup. Choose a shape or draw an outline, then enter the measured wall dimensions in Surface. Measurements use millimetres and areas use square metres. Switch between Flooring and Tiling at the top of the editor.

Set the material and layout

In Material, enter the actual plank or tile dimensions, pieces per box and perimeter gap. Tiling also has grout controls. Use Layout to change direction, joint pattern and the balanced or manual layout origin. Select a piece in the plan to inspect its measured cut shape.

Add skirting

Tap Skirting in the main navigation; on phones it is the bottom-right option. Enable it, choose the height, material settings and included walls, then Save. Flooring uses separate skirting bars with profile and finish choices. Tiling uses strips cut from the same floor tile and adds their source tiles to the combined purchase quantity.

Whole walls can be included or excluded. Door openings are not automatically deducted. Check corners, mitres, curves and fitting allowances for the actual installation.

Estimate grout and adhesive

In Tiling, open Grout & adhesive from Material or Cuts. Enter the product rate, joint settings, pack size and allowance. The estimate includes enabled tile skirting where applicable. Check the product label and the actual surface preparation before ordering.

Preview and export

Use the room-preview icon at the top or Preview finished room in Material. Compare floor finishes, wall colours and skirting, rotate the view and save a PNG image. Cuts contains the PDF and CSV export controls. Select where to save or share using your device’s system interface.

Save and back up your rooms

Rooms save locally on your device. Open Rooms and choose Export backup to keep an editable JSON copy; Import backup opens one again. Keep backups outside the app before deleting it or changing devices. PDFs, CSV files and images do not replace an editable room backup.

If something goes wrong

Export a backup if possible, then close and reopen the app. Check for an update. Avoid deleting the app as a first troubleshooting step because rooms are stored locally. Contact us with the steps to reproduce the issue.

Purchasing the app

FloorMark is prepared as a one-time paid download with all features included. There is no free edition, trial, subscription or in-app purchase. Purchase records and refund requests are handled by the store where you bought the app.
